Hailing from Scotland where I have studied & worked within fashion and textiles for over 10 years, I am a dedicated designer of all things knitted and crochet!
With a keen eye for colour and textures, I am always creating new & exciting accessories and clothes, there is always a WIP lying around the house! With an HND in Fashion Design & manufacture, a BA Hons in Design for Textiles (Knitwear) and an MA in Digital Fashion, I have gained a broad range of key practical skills which I utilise on a daily basis in my current role as a Textile Technician.
After completing my Masters at London College of Fashion, I worked as a freelance designer on many exciting projects, designing and manufacturing knitwear. Working as the Textile Technician at the Textile Facilitation Unit (TFU) based within Shetland College: UHI. I teach students & assist customers in the design, develop and production of knitted garments, accessories and fabric on range of different gauge Shima Seiki industrial electronic knitting machines.
